SuperLuminal Resurgence Cover Full Quality

A HERO IS BORN, NOT MADE, BUT THE POWER THEY WIELD? THOSE ARE RARELY OF THEIR OWN CHOOSING!

Mutations! Alien Empowerment! Technology! And of course... Magic!

Welcome back, intrepid readers, to the astonishing and audacious adventures of the one and only AURORA!

But hold onto your hats, true believers, because this time, we’re not just talking about battling baddies in the streets—no, no, no! Our fiery heroine is about to face her greatest challenge yet—and it’s not just about stopping crime!

You see, though Aurora has now formally joined the Society of Sentinels, she’s still green—her skills raw, her potential untapped! That’s why the Society has summoned her to the legendary Sentinel’s Kitchen! A high-octane hero boot camp where new talents are forged in fire and only the best of the best rise to the top! And guess what? She’s about to be trained by hard-hitting regular members like the Midnight Avenger himself! Can our fledgling champion survive the gauntlet and prove her mettle?

But wait—there’s more! Mistral’s been guarding secrets, secrets that won’t stay buried for long!

And Leona? She’s got her hands full—juggling training, hero work, and flying off to Saskatoon for some much-needed cuddle time with Mistral! And back home, Sarah’s shaking off her parents’ chains, embracing her newfound independence with reckless abandon!

Meanwhile, the clock is ticking for Quinn—college in sunny California is calling, and soon, the Ramses household will be one loud voice quieter. Can Leona hold everything together while the fires of change burn bright all around her?

New friendships! New enemies! A hideout fit for a hero! And the moment when Aurora’s legend truly begins! And what’s this… a mysterious man appears in Kirby’s precinct with peculiar habits. Will this strange man be one of Aurora’s greatest allies or one of her deadliest nemeses?

So don’t blink, don’t turn that page too fast, and for the love of all things superluminal—don’t miss what’s coming next!

SuperLuminal-Resurgence-1.01-What is Love?

:RinkoCat: Nya! Thanks for reading SuperLuminal: Resurgence!

Here we go—the moment everyone has been waiting for! Things have been going well behind the scenes, though my work on remaking SuperLuminal: Circuits of Madness has slowed a bit. The first arc is done, but I first poured my energy into Allie’s Epic Adventure, packing it with my whimsical humor. That story became a way to immortalize my friends—Suchan, and all my most important people. When AlliterativeArts was asked what superpower he’d have and answered "omnipotency," I took it at face value and crafted a silly, mind-bending adventure to fit him in.

So, fair warning—lukewarm reactions to what I created to entertain everyone bummed me out. My enthusiasm for remastering has waned a bit, though I have no intention of stopping. Instead, another project has captured my imagination. An amazing story is coming up—my first LitRPG ever, in collaboration with Shinji Hinako, another of my precious friends and my cuddly cute kitten. She’s setting the stage darker than I ever would—grimdark, visceral, deeply fascinating. It’s taking my creativity in yet another direction, much like Euphonia was (which I’m not abandoning, by the way—it’s still amazing in its own right). But this one is fresh in my mind, and the creative juices are flowing! I hope it earns more comments and hearts when it’s done.

✨ As always, this is a heavily polished, sparkly version of SuperLuminal—a true Resurgence!

This book has been massively remastered. I hope everyone enjoys the entirely new large arc that now makes up the first half of An Ill Wind. It has been completely reborn and now stands toe-to-toe with its sibling books. Previously, much of this lore was summarized in just a handful of paragraphs—now, it unfolds in full. Aurora goes to new places and experiences new adventures! This arc is absolutely amazing—an editorial effort beyond any before it. This is the definitive version—the most refined and heavily revised yet.

Unlike the previous book, there are major adjustments and changes you won’t believe. New characters make their debut, and previously blurry plot points have been magnified, expanded, and revealed like never before! As always, look forward to the bonus chapter at the end—the third part of that little story arc!

With enthusiasm, allow me to open the curtains and present the next remastered part of the epic that is SuperLuminal: Resurgence. And keep an eye out—Book 4: Circuits of Madness will receive the same level of refinement and remastering as Second Flight!

And now, here we are—almost four months into 2025. How has the year been treating you? Personally, I’m getting by, but existential terror is creeping in. So much is happening that could destroy lives—mine included. Maybe others feel the same. If so, know that you’re not alone. For some, this new year might be the best ever. But I fear for everyone. We’re on a rollercoaster we can’t steer. Maybe that’s why my brain is stuck in grimdark mode.

For all of us, I hope SuperLuminal continues to be a story that helps us get through and brightens our days.

There’s no particularly objectionable imagery in this book—no explicit scenes like in the previous one—though there is one deeply loving moment at the end. Leona finally receives a reward she was always denied, though circumstances had prevented it until now. This book is more exciting than ever, and I love it more than ever. I hope you love it just as much. Every event in SuperLuminal shapes who Leona is and who she’s becoming. If anything in this book offends you, please don’t rate it poorly just for that—I don’t expect anything to, but still.

I also fear for the future of transgender fiction and the people who write it. Will they try to silence us? Will they imprison people for writing from the heart about things that certain groups despise? Will our books be burned or erased? What will happen to the artists and writers pouring their souls into their work, only to face censorship and erasure? I want to keep writing my stories into the future. I hope for a happier future, where everyone can live, love, and find some measure of happiness.

As always, this story is dedicated to my dear Sureia—she continues to live on in my heart. This isn’t just another novel to me; SuperLuminal holds deep personal meaning. And now, it carries even more sentimentality.

Your acceptance, love, and support are what keep my passion for writing alive. It’s because of that encouragement that I keep going.

We’ll forge ahead—now on a three-day-a-week schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If all goes well, by the time we reach the end of the currently existing material, my memory will be refreshed, and I’ll be ready to pour everything I have—all my passion—into the next big book.

The first chapter will arrive soon. These prefaces are hardly meaty enough to satisfy discerning readers, right?

Here we go!
